Replying to LO15720 --

What indeed are employees resources for? To add value to their
organization in a way that is alligned with their personal goals. We are
all resources. We are resources to ourselves.

The question is, how is a human being supporting himself by supporting the
organization.

In my company we talk a lot about Personal Mastery. "Are your hands
always doing what your eyes want to see?" If not, make the concious
choice to be a resource to yourself, by persuing something else.

I believe that business leaders are not responsible for resources, but for
managing the environment so resources can thrive.
