Books that I've found helpful include:
"Learning as a Way of Being," by Peter Vaill.
"The Heart Aroused," by David Whyte.
"The Intelligence Advantage," by Michael McMaster
"The Praxis Equation," by Michael McMaster
"Seeing Systems," Barry Oshry
"A Way of Being," by Carl Rogers (not explicitly about LOs, but great information on group dynamics)
"The Age of Heretics," by Art Kliener (a wonderful historical view of LOs)
"The Knowledge Creating COmpany," by Nonaka and Tacheuchi
Other books that I have gained significant insights into LOs (and especially organizational intelligence) are:
"Hidden Order," by John Holland
"The Web of Life," by Fritjof Capra
"The Quark and the Jaguar," by Murry Gell-Mann
"The Social Construction of Reality," by Berger & Luckmann
"Grammatical Man," by Jeremy Campbell
"The Art of the Longview" by Peter Schwartz
There are also a number of books I have found very helpful as I have tried to learn and to practice Personal Mastery (the keystone of LOs, I think):
"The Six Pillars of Self-Esteem," by Nathaniel Branden
"Taking Responsibility," by Nathaniel Branden
a"Living Consciously," by Nathaniel Branden
"Emotional Intelligence," by Daniel Goleman
"Toward Being," by Abraham Maslow (this could be the wrong title, I'm going off memory and I'm not 100% certain on this one).
"Human Action," by Ludwig Von Mises (this book is technically about economics, but I learned a whole lot about human beings when I read it a couple of years ago).
Of course the Fifth Discipline and the Fifth Discipline Fieldbook are a wonderful starting point.
