My experience is similar to Terri's. I've also found that once I've
experienced a certain level/depth in communication I don't want to settle
for less.
I've found it rewarding to work at bringing as many as possible of my
conversations and ongoing dialogues to deeper levels. It can be
especially challenging with those who are accustomed to 'competitive
conversation', but it's worth every bit of patience required to find that
place of connection with the other. - leads to a very rich life
