For what it's worth, here's a new twist...
This thoughtful message from Jim Ulrich was "banned" by at least one
internet mail system because it contains "banned or potentially offensive
text." My guess is that the word "inti * macy" is a no-no.
(If I left the word intact, this msg would probably be blocked as well.)
I have seen msgs blocked by gateways in the middle east (on religious
grounds), but this is the first time in the US.
SPAM has become a huge problem; I intercept a lot of junk that SPAMers
would like to send you.
I have no suggested actions; this is just FYI. Be aware that your ISP or
corporate gateway may block incoming mail trying to protect you.

In reply to LO18656 and LO18639 --
I too relish the experience of "connecting" with other people at a deeper level, and I frequently find such experiences to be the highlight of my day -- when they do occur. It may just be a 3-minute hallway conversation with a co-worker, talking over lunch with a mentor, or a phone call to a good friend, but somehow it happens: we are authentic with each other and fully present for each other. I enjoy such moments, and I wonder what I can do to have more of them. [...snip...]
