I'm glad we are having this discussion, since I have always found the PDSA
cycle confusing. Without clogging up the net with more "me too" stuff,
the cycle I find best for me is :-

Plan
Do
Observe
Reflect

A colleague of mine (Bob Dick) not only has a variation on this (Plan,
Act, Reflect, Conclude), but has linked the progression from each of the
four activities (eg Plan to Act) with the four Myers Briggs temperaments.
Very useful when you have a work team that appears unable to complete the
cycle. The MBTI give you some clues where the problems might lie.
