It seems several people have indicted that it is bad, but it's possible I
have misread your emails and a few others...but it isn't clear to me where
you and a few people see it as "fitting".

I agree that it has caused problems in organizations, but I am hesitant to
start labelling such things as psychological "illnesses", such as
psychosis. So many species on this planet exhibit dominance rituals and
processes, and it's clear that dominance and power processes are an
integral part of the evolutionary process, that it's probably a reasonable
conclusion that human beings are also, in part, built to compete, and vie
for dominance in both a biological sense and a societal one.

...if that's true...then all of us are neurotic or psychotic according to
the statement you agree with.
