You are assuming that a) the ranking process is accurate (and NO ranking
system is accurate enough (unless we are talking about certain sales
figures) to distinguish effectively.

..as I have stated before a RANKING system could place one person above
the other, based on a miniscule, insignificant difference, even it we
could measure value, which, generally, we can't.
