I'm just glad that you felt compelled to respond--and that you did.
It is an interesting assumption that Chris posed--probably an accurate
one. I'm not really sure what the word white male means, because it's a
little too stereotypical for me. That's probably because most people
think that I'm a white male. (Sometimes ardent feminists suspect that I
abuse women too). I have doubts that there's a white male club sending
it's members to lead major companies. If there were, I might be more
intrigued by the prospect of being a white male.
But because I didn't know the factual answer--I had only assumptions,
conclusions, inferences like most everyone else--I kept waiting for a
white male leader of a major company to answer the question. It appears
that that may not happen.
So, I guess I'd like to know why this question is important to Chris--and,
if Chris wants to be a leader of a major company or not--and if so, what
Chris is doing to prepare for that eventuality. Of course, this may have
been a rhetorical question--and if so, probably more time has been spent
on it than necessary.
walk in peace,
Doc
