Re: Msgs Seeking Article(s)

A good point Malcolm. A friend of mine teaches an organisation learning
course within an Adult Education Masters and he is encouraged that he is
now getting MBA "refugees" wanting to do his program after 3 years of
relentless accounting and industrial law subjects.

On the other hand, when newer ideas such as those around organisational
learning enter into the mainstream they tend to encounter the kinds of
problem I referred to in my original email. That is, the "what do I need
to do to pass this course?" response from students and hence the quick
call for references.

I have no solution to this except to point out that higher education does
not always encourage learning. Or put more positively, the higher
education sector should always be on the look out for new ways to
encourage learning and to remove any barriers and impediments to learning.
