In my previous life at McBer & Company, I was peripherally involved in the
development of a Teacher Style Inventory and Classroom Climate Survey,
which were based on the highly valid equivalent measures used for business
management. The person developing this, Jim Burruss, has been involved in
a great deal of innovative teaching approaches, such as the Algebra
Project which uses methods to teach algebra to grade-school kids from
impoverished environments. Give a call to the Training Resources Group at
Hay/McBer. There is an 800 number I don't have handy, but you could call
the Boston office at (617) 425-4500.
