Replying to LO21594 --

Mission, vision, and values are important only if they are WIDELY SHARED .
. . i.e. only if they are the RESULTS of a process not targets to shoot
at. They cannot be developed by a small group and be expected to reflect
the "commitment" of all workers or members of an organization.

The real bottom line is "what do we do that makes a difference" and "who
cares?" Answer those impertinent but important questions first.
