Tony Padgett asked about the background and education of a CKO / CLO. The
following link is a study of 52 such folks as reported in CIO Magazine
last Nov. (sorry the URL is so long). Because data systems tend to drive
the power of a CKO / CLO to achieve the objectives, it would seem that
knowledge of databases and information technologies in general would be
pretty critical.
